Memcached is an in-memory key-value store for small chunks of arbitrary data (strings, objects) from results of database calls, API calls, or page rendering.
If your community gets bigger you will reach some point that your server needs to get optimized for lots of traffic which needs to be balanced.
Installing a memcached server is free (opensource) and almost every high traffic website is using this.
It would be great if mooSocial supports a memcached server via a plugin or build it into the core.
