Allow admin to ban user from website. Admin can ban/unban user from his timeline. A ban user can't able to login or use the website. On his profile there will be user ban message.

We can deactivate a user, which is basically like banning (they cannot log in). Having it available on the front end would be handy.

Besides banning a user you are also able to ban email addresses and ip addresses.

System Admin>>System Settings>>Security you can ban IP addresses and email addresses.

Well yeah, it requires a lot of steps, but still, you can ban people. I'm sure they'll be making improvements in the future.

As Holly said, We can deactivate a user, which is basically like banning (they cannot log in) from front end. Or If would like we can create a new user group, and uncheck do not allow he do anything. So are you sure we need to Ban user from front end?
