Download copy of user data

It would be great to have a function available that users are able to download a copy of their user data. Like FB explained here: https://m.facebook.com/help/302796099745838 This function makes communities more transparant in case users want to leave the community or just want to download their data.

Oh, I just read that per May 28, 2018 the new privacy regulations apply within the European Union (AVG Privacy). One of the requirements is that users must have a possibility to have insight in their user data. Second requirement is: the user should be able to tranfer their user data by their own. Such plugin would therefore really help to apply to this new EU rule.

Thanks , you can have an idea by doing this on FB. Once requested FB is generating html output of the content in the background. Once finished your receive an email with a download link (you also be notified by the notification system.

The output are simple html pages per content (pictures, videos, feed content, events, chat, etc etc). If you downloaded the zip file and double click the index.html file.. a nice simple html site is displayed with links to the other html pages with the conte... more
