Would it be possible to release a GPDR version of Moosocial? So that quasi two versions of Moosocial exist

- A "world" version with Google Fonts
- A "Europe" version where Google Fonts are not used and all fonts and icons can be hosted on your own server.

Because in Europe Google Webfonts is more and more a legal problem.

Mark Please read this, it's in french but you can translate the page , its a good and clear resume of the situation, But above all there is a solution that is proposed and which does not require you to make two versions of moosocial... just a plugin lol (aka wordpress)
Please read about "Locally host your Google Fonts."

A plugin to host fonts and icons on your own server would be a good solution - a complete deactivation of Google Webfonts Mark, is there something in planning?

I think a solution like the wordpress plugin, using the simplicity (for dev) of google font, while respecting the GDPR wouldn't be bad .The solution seems to be open source
I was about to post part 3 of my SEO "series", but saw that the topic of google fonts had already been addressed.

Here's another argument for hosting google fonts on your own server (at least as an option to be set up): everything that doesn't have to be reloaded via an https query usually has a shorter call time.

And yes, it is urgent that such an option is created, as ALL installations in Europe are at risk of being penalized because of the GPDR.
In Germany, there was a court ruling on goo...  more
