I have been trying to add some GENDERS by myself but then I ended up inspecting bootstrap.php and noticed things are more complicated than just editing. Seems like it requires additional code implements. So I just stopped working on edit.

Well so far I know many of Moo Clients using Moo Script for a sexual website purposes and seems like WE REALLY DO this feature asap guys.
Since we can not disable the default Gender field and use custom field tool to create another Gender, we have to go with Sexual Orientations only but GENDER and Sexual Orientation is quiet different.
PLEASE Bring this feature for us MooTeam! THANKS!

by default mooSocial has 2 genders: Male and female, you can enable "Unspecified" Gender in Admincp -> Features setting. Which gender do you want to add more?

It should be possible to use whichever ones you want for your community, as not all options may be necessary or relevant for all communities. Perhaps a list where we can pick which ones we want activated? (Even better, make this a customizable field for admin.)

Yes Mark there are things you shouldn't implement to default Moo But at least we should have easy access to add additional genders. People keeps creating NEW GENDERS nowadays

I agree. I’m running an LGBT app and website, and it feels like a slap in the face to my members that they have 1950’s era Gender selections to choose from. I had to add the other genders in with sexual orientations in Profile Type and it makes it appear that the guy running the LGBT app isn’t familiar with the LGBT community....

Profile types as in ROLES? That is a temporary solution yes but imagine when your website reaches over 2000 members and then MOO releases this feature.. Everything will be ruined for you. Because in this case you would want to move all roles back to one single role in order to be able to use ROLES feature properly (because more roles more work anyway). In this case I have suggested feature again long time ago which is about possibility to bulk move people from role to role.
