A suggestion: If you get automatically signed out, and then want to sign in and stay on the same page as you were, it doesn't work. It takes you back to the newsfeed.
We need to have a way where once we log in we aren't redirected and keep on the same page we were looking it before signing in.

I think it's currently working as you said above. Please test at this community.
I had tried it yesterday on the feedback page and my session timed out and I logged back on (Still on feedback page) and I was redirected to home.
By design, you are forwarded to home after logged in.
Yes, I understand that Ryan. But why? If you're reading a page and get to halfway, and then leave the computer with the page open. If your session times out and it logs you out, you would need to log back in and find that page again to write a reply on that original page. - I would like to do that without being redirected from the original page I was reading and about to write on as it could be a social media network with lots of pages and lots of articles etc and may be hard to find. The system does not differentiate a log out and a session timed out. I understand what you mean having to find your way back. But, you don't get timed out after a long period of inactivity, by then you might want to do something else already. Anyways, it is not a bug and we will consider this as a suggestion for improvement. We will see how others think of this.
This definitely needs sorting.
