However, the unstable chat module is becoming more and more of a burden. Despite the fact that I was promised 1 1/2 months ago that the new chat was ready, unfortunately nothing happens.
Either the project is too big for the development team or the CakePHP is the wrong system to properly program something like this.
I've already paid for the support for this year. But if even a paid installation of a function that exists in another module takes more than a week (activating a link to subsequently share business directory feeds on Facebook), this is not a long-term basis for work. I'll look at it this month, then I'll decide whether to look for another company as a partner.
As I said, the script is great (the layout is not so) in terms of scope, but when the support is so sluggish, the great purchased functions are of little use to me. - And I'm not even talking about the announced update, which should be ready months ago.
Thanks for the showcase. For the long-term basic support, please contact me thru skype then let's discuss further details to get the process more better and faster.
The site requires you to have a .edu email to sign up since it is exclusively for college students, but the video on the home page gives an idea of what we've done. Pretty heavily customized version 2.5 right now since we absolutely need mobile apps for our target audience.
