The new Tables Country and States, where are used ??

Hello friends,
 
I notice that the new  moosocial version 2.5 have the follow tables: country and states. i need to know where are using theses tables into the sysrtem.

There are two new functions in 2.5 follow and Country manager. These two new tables for these new features.
