change template

Hello
 
I am making a website with different catergories.
I have now almost the same template as Moosocial and want to modify this in a more modern version like mooOrigin’s template. 
Have i need to re-imput all my categories and sub-categories?
Have i need to re-imput all my alphabetic categories and sub-categories?

Don't need to re-input categories if you change the existing template to another one.
