Disabling photo theater mode

Hello, currently if you disable photo theater mode, you can still click on the images posted by users, however it will bring you to a 404 page. Is there a way to disable clicking on images when theater mode is off? Thanks!

What version do you use Chris ? in 3.02 in have no bug when enable/disbale theater mode
