Add image to message

I'd like to be able to add an image when sending a message to a member.

Currently, I can do this within a message thread, however the first message sent to a member does not give an option to include an image.

Is there an addon for this, one planned, or a setting somewhere in admin that will allow this?

If not, would this require significant changes to core code to achive?

Currently, can't add image into first message. Will add this improvement at next coming version.
