New payment gateway plugin

I'm trying to code another payment provider next to PayPal Adaptive, because PayPal isn't used that much in our country (NL). I've created a new plugin in the plugin manager and choose for type "Payment" instead of "Default". From here I would like to start creating the code. But what is the difference between a new plugin with type "payment" and "default"?

I'm just guessing it to do with global functions and so the script can tell them apart.

iDeal. Its the no1 online payment system in the netherlands.. Thanks first thing to learn how moo and cake are build.. so no quick solution here but a learning curve with a new payment option in mind

If you are think of going global you could use worldpay.

Hmmm now I need another payment system for sure because PayPal rejected my business model (adult).. which I knew that it was rejected on forehand..

I think your best option will be worldpay.

Its kind of strange because PP doesnt allow adulting sites.. but the biggest sites uses PP.. so it was a shot worth .. let me try first iDeal.. thats working for sure
