I'm setting up my SCM server (GitLab) so I can monitor contract developers and their progress. I'd like to get some CI/CD setup to have some confidence in the quality of the source code.
It doesn't look like there are a ton of tests included with MooSocial, but some Plugins do have tests included and I'd like to enforce new code to have tests included.
Has anyone had luck just running the tests manually via the command line? I've been trying to follow this here: https://book.cakephp.org/2.0/en/development/testing.html#running-tests-from-command-line
...but it seems a bit rough around the edged when applying it to MooSocial. I've been able to get some of the actual CakePHP tests to run out of /lib/Cake/, but getting anything to run out of /app/ has proved quite elusive.
If I could just get the tests to run manually, at least, I could translate that to something that I can run on my build server.
Any tips would be appreciated.
