SMTP with Mailgun

I'm not sure what is wrong, but I have not been able to get SMTP working. I can send/receive with the PHP server mail but not through SMTP.
 
I am verified with txt records, MX records and correct CNAME at Mailgun.
 
I am using the correct username and password. Have port 587 set and using SSL.
 
Anyone have a suggestion? Anybody else using Mailgun here for SMTP?
 
I also have not been able to get the share via email to work, not even with standard PHP mail from my server.

Mark can someone help? I have even tried Amazon SES. I have installed the correct txt, DKIM settings on our domain. Is there anyone on this community that can suggest an SMTP server to use that works with mooSocial?

I've tried every port 25, 465 and 587 both SSL and TLS and it has not worked.

Mark - My web host helped me. It was a firewall protection. He gave me an alternative port and it works great! YAAAHOO!

Mark -- all the email notifications are working with SMTP now. But the contact form does not work with SMTP. Is it coded differently than what the admin section for mail settings has?
