The scrolling on this very page is really off. It jumps back before I can reach the bottom post. it should have just taken me directly to Dixon's response when I clicked on the notification that Dixon Cane had commented on this string.

The "Edit Comment" on this string doesn't work either. I suspect that's a universal problem with this program.

I tested this on my site to make sure something didn't change. Videos post with the preview just like on Facebook, whether I use the link from the address bar, or You Tube's shortcut link. It worked for me on the wall as well as via the Video tab on my site.

As for the notifications to specific post, yes, I believe that may need some work.

I've used a lot of different social network sites and they all have a delay when scrolling old posts. Facebook as you pointed out does seem to be the fast...  more

Newman, see above ^ the Edit is showing on my last post but when I clicked the edit button, nothing happened visually. So that mat be a glitch for the developers to look at.

Dixon, I can only go by the DEMOS I've tried and what's happing here, on this community site. If it doesn't work here, or in the demo, then I can only assume that it doesn't work. I don't have a mooSocial site yet because I'm afraid of having the apparent issues I've experienced in the demo and here. I'm not a programmer, so I can't fix it. I can only trust my own experience.

Well we can see what Ryan or one of the techs says. The same thing was happening on my site until I configured it to add the You Tube API (instructions are in the MooWiki). I can't say why it's not working here right now.

And believe me, I'm not an early adopter either. Test test test and get your questions answered to your satisfaction. I tried many demo sites, and had to compromise with each one. In the long run I had to decide what I needed to run MY site. Same with you.

I've already mentioned about the scroll problem that is a feature that can be disabled in the admin panel but for some reason the developers don't want to disable it on this community since then I have stopped messaging people has much because I makes me very angry when it auto scrolls past 3 comments at the bottom and can be very frustrating.
